We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE) as the Rural and Remote Clinical Educator.

The Role

The Rural and Remote Clinical Educator will be responsible for delivering the education and training programs for all clinical areas and undertaking assessments in line with mandatory training and scope of practice.

You will collaborate with a talented team of highly skilled professionals to manage, develop and coordinate nursing and midwifery training activities including specific needs for the aviation environment, supporting the delivery of improved health outcomes to the communities we serve.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant nursing registration with AHPRA and Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Postgraduate registrations in Midwifery / Critical Care – (ED/ICU)
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or willing to achieve within 6 months)
  • Proven training skills
  • Clinical competence in area of practice
  • Maintenance of advanced clinical practice skills and competencies e.g.: BLS/ACLS

The role can be located in:

  • Dubbo; or
  • Broken Hill.
