Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is seeking a skilled Business Systems Administrator – M365 to join our Digital & Technology team during an exciting time of growth and innovation. This Permanent, Full-time role will provide comprehensive support and management for M365 tools and platforms, including Forms, SharePoint Sites & Spaces, Teams, OneDrive, Bookings, Power Apps, and Power Automate. You will play a critical part in the rollout of SharePoint collaboration sites, as well as maintaining high standards of compliance, security and continuous improvement management practices across the organisation.
Who are we looking for?
A M365 - SME who is a strong team player, communicates effectively and confidently with all stakeholders and collaborates seamlessly with the broader RFDS teams. A creative problem solver, eager to contribute and understanding that their work is essential to the organisation.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in application support and administration.
- Microsoft 365 certified – desirable
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in administering MS SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Knowledge of incident and problem management processes.
- Understanding of information management, data governance, and security best practices.
- Experience in change and release management (including test and change management).
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the M365 space, offering guidance and advice on Microsoft solutions that best align with the business functional and operational needs.
- Support and maintain M365 platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Bookings, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Requires knowledge of other supported business applications to provide comprehensive support to the business and fellow Business Administrators. These applications include, but are not limited to, JIRA, Air Maestro, Protech, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Gallagher Security Systems, and Dayforce.
- Ensure accurate inventory of all SharePoint sites and knowledge libraries.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for compliance with legislation and business requirements.
- Investigate opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Migrate information from legacy systems to SharePoint as required.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of information within M365.
- Document and maintain application support processes, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, escalating as needed, and ensuring proper recovery and closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and address needs.
