About this Opportunity

Through an internal promotion there is an opportunity for a skilled administrative to join the People & Culture RFDS team.  Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture as the People and Culture Administrator, you will be motivated to provide outstanding administrative services throughout the end-to-end employee life cycle and recruitment processes.

Specifically, you will be inspired to:

- Onboarding, Offboarding, and Employee Transfers: administer the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding new hires to offboarding departing employees. This includes updating HR systems, preparing documentation, and coordinating transfers.
- HR Operations: Assist with day-to-day HR tasks such as maintaining employee records, processing changes to employment conditions, and supporting RFDS Reconciliation Action Plan.
- Data Analysis: Contribute to data-driven decision making by compiling and analysing HR data, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
- HR Projects: Participate in HR projects aimed at improving organisational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Employee Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all HR enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Data Management: Handle data change requests and ensure accurate employee data.
- Reporting: Extract and provide systems reports for the P&C team.
- Project Support: Assist with P&C projects through administrative tasks.

About You

You are currently studying or a recent human resources/psychology/business graduate seeking to build upon your administrative skills in a HR environment, or an established HR Administrator seeking a change of scenery!

However, it is most important that you are:
- Committed to delivering people and culture requirements with a high degree of integrity and honesty
- Compliant in delivering a human resources service in line with confidentiality and privacy requirements
- Committed to delivering engaging, fair and prompt people and culture service to a dynamic, geographically dispersed organisation that operates 24/7, 365 days per year
- A people person! You thrive working in a collaborative, people centric function to deliver people and culture services
- Responsive and prompt in managing people and culture requirements, as well as candidate & employee requests/queries

To be considered for the role you require:
- Proven work experience as an HR administrative assistant or similar
- Hands on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
- A high level of PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of employment and labour legislations
- Sound problem solving abilities and a self-starter attitude
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A focus on teamwork and collaboration
