About this Opportunity
As a Project Support Officer, reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Chief Information Officer, you will be a key resource and support within the Project Management Office (PMO).
This hands-on role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and project support to the PMO and contributes to smooth project delivery while ensuring adherence to governance standards.
We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.
Specifically, you will:
• Collaborate with project delivery leads to collect project status updates and prepare the monthly project portfolio dashboard.
• Facilitate project management board meetings and associated meeting documents (minutes, actions etc).
• Proactively monitor and maintain the portfolio risk register including scheduling regular reviews and updates.
• Provide support to project delivery leads to assist with project management and procurement activities, including allocation of project codes to projects.
• Assist with general project management office administrative tasks and support for the Smartsheet software application.
About You
You are:
• An excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• A dynamic problem solver who can work autonomously and contribute within a collaborative environment
• A highly organised individual who can manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
To be considered for the role you require:
• A minimum of two years’ experience in developing and maintaining program or project management dashboards and artefacts.
• Experience in maintaining program or project risk registers, including scheduling reviews and facilitating risk meetings.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools including Microsoft SharePoint/Teams, and Smartsheet.
