About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Manager Clinical, Safety and Quality Systems, this role is an integral part of the Clinical Safety Quality Systems team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the team with a board range of administrative duties, including
- Scheduling team meetings, preparing agendas and distributing minutes.
- Maintaining a filing and archiving systems to support information management.
- Supporting the chairs of each committee in their lead role to ensure effectiveness of the clinical governance committee functions and responsibilities.
- Contributing to a team culture where individual members are valued and recognised for their diverse skill sets.
- Suggesting and promoting creative ideas and approaches to improve individual and team performance.
- Building collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
You have:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, including scheduling and managing meeting processes with multiple committees and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- The ability to take a creative and innovative approach when facing challenges and overcoming obstacles.
- Effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise responsibilities to meet stipulated deadlines.
- Sound experience in use of Microsoft systems, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to be flexible and work independently.
To be considered for the role you require:
- Certificate 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
Your application would also be enhanced by:
- A sound working knowledge and understanding of operations and contemporary issues in health care, particularly safety and quality.
- Understanding of change management principles and practises.
- Experience in undertaking accreditation against the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards or equivalent quality assurance system.
