About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Retrieval Nursing Director as our Administration Officer, you will be motivated to provide high-quality, confidential, administrative support to the Flight Nurse Leadership Team across the four aeromedical bases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing business support and secretarial activities such as maintaining calendars, managing meeting/and room bookings, taking minutes, organising catering and preparing correspondence.
- Providing efficient and accurate word processing outputs utilising the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
- Supporting Flight Nurse Managers and the Clinical Education team to book education and coordinate internal communication strategies.
- Assisting the Flight Nurse Managers with rostering and time and attendance activities.
- Undertaking project activities to support the team in relation to implementation of projects that support key RFDS strategies.
About You
You are seeking a role where your excellent verbal and written communication skills can shine, and where you can demonstrate your ability to manage competing demands and multiple projects while maintaining quality. You are seeking to utilise your existing administrative capabilities in an organisation that provides a community focussed service!
To be considered for the role, you will require:
- Advanced knowledge and competence in Windows-based computer systems (including networked systems), and in using the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
- The ability to communicate effectively with professional and non-professional staff, clients and members of the wider community.
- The ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
- A strong sense of initiative and a bright and positive attitude.
- Proven ability to set your own workload priorities and work both autonomously and as part of a team in a constantly changing work environment.
Qualifications in Business Administration or a related discipline are desirable, along with experience in the Health Services industry.
