About the Role

As the Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in working across the organisation to help drive growth and maximise financial outcomes. The role requires a dynamic commercially -minded approach to assessing business opportunities within an exciting growth phase of the organisation.

The Commercial Analyst works across the organisation to leverage financial and operating reports to deliver insight and recommendations for business improvement.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Develop business cases that support business growth opportunities as well as initiatives for existing business growth.
- Provide in depth business analysis to program managers, in conjunction with the Data Analytics Team
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis across all service lines to understand trends, variances, and key performance indicators
- Manage and produce financial modelling for tender and grant applications.
- Utilise effective communication and collaboration to ensure that financial information is understood and utilised effectively.

To be successful, you will need:

- Experience in commercial finance roles, holding a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting (desirable CPA/CA qualified)
- Broad skillset across commercial finance, financial analysis, and business partnering, with proven experience in process improvement and optimisation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Ability to develop strong business relationships within all levels of organisations, including senior-level executives
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve financial issues across management reporting and budgeting
- The ability to utilise diverse data sources, analyse, understand and present data in its simplest form and convert into sound commercial insights.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
