About this Opportunity


As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional visitor experience in the way visitors are greeted and guided through the RFDS Alice Springs Tourist Facility Our Alice Springs Tourist Facilities provides an opportunity for the public to learn about the history, staff, and patients of the Royal Flying Doctor Service and their heroic stories, in a technology driven and interactive environment.

In this role, you will be motivated to:
• Provide an engaging visitor experience through a brief and informative talk on the operations of the RFDS and advocate for the communities we support and serve whilst guiding them through the various visitor experiences at the Facility.
• Maintain and assist with various retail and sales tasks including group bookings, ticketing, point of sale services, re-stocking products, displays and stocktakes.


About You

To be considered for this role you require:

• A professional and respectful approach with appropriate written, verbal and interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with a diverse range of people
• Ability to prioritise tasks whilst contributing positively within a wider team environment.
• Previous experience in tourism, retail or cash handling environment.
• Good availability to work across Monday to Sunday (generally between the core hours of 9am-5pm) with occasional work outside core hours for functions
