About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, as the Data Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the RFDS SA/NT’s effective, secure and disciplined data managed strategy.

pecifically, you will:
- Oversee all aspects of data quality and ensures its accuracy across healthcare delivery.
- Manage data governance and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Lead data migration and integration projects for seamless data flow.
- Champion data security and privacy practices to protect patient confidentiality.
- Design and implements a data architecture that documents RFDS's data assets, maps data flow, and provides a blueprint for future data management.
- Develop and implement responsible data policies and procedures.
- Support and foster a community of practice, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration, and training employees on data management best practices.

About You
You are:

- An experienced data management specialist with proven ability to develop and implement data management strategies
- A motivated leader with a strong understanding of data governance and healthcare data privacy regulations
- An effective communicator with outstanding collaboration skills and a customer focused approach to service delivery.
- A solution focussed professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive work style

To be considered for the role you require:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or health informatics.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with developing and implementing data management strategies
- Experience with data architecture principles, data warehousing methodologies, and data preparation/transformation techniques.

Your application would be enhanced by:
- Experience with data ingestion (FiveTran, Matillion ETL), data storage (Databricks, Snowflake) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Hands-on with SQL scripting language
