About the Role

The Events & Community Engagement Administrator will play a crucial role in delivering our diverse range of events. You'll work closely with the Events & Community Engagement Coordinator, ensuring every fundraising and community event is a resounding success. Your mission? To foster meaningful connections with our incredible stakeholders—donors, community members, and partners.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide general administrative support
- Coordinate stakeholder data lists including processing regular updates
- Respond to incoming stakeholder enquiries and requests
- Gather information and research to support fundraising and community events
- Generate timely reports, invoices, data files and other necessary documentation
- Support the Marketing and Communications team to send donor and stakeholder EDM’s and digital communications (via CRM platform).
- Support the wider Marketing and Fundraising Team on relative projects during quiet event periods

To be successful, you will need:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Business, Marketing, Community Development, Event Management or Public Relations or related disciplines
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience working in administration, community engagement, fundraising, event management, marketing or a relevant field
- To be available to work occasional evenings and weekends during critical campaign and event periods
- Experience in engaging and building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Experience in launching, developing, and coordinating campaigns and events
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and preferable experience using CRM programs, preferably The Raiser’s Edge and Ortto.
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
