About the Program
Flying Doctor Community Transport provides clients with transport at no cost from home to health appointments and funded Social Support Groups. It is a volunteer-led program, that relies on the generosity of local volunteer drivers.
About the Role
The Service Delivery Coordinator supports accurate and efficient scheduling and dispatching of client bookings across all Community Transport sites and manages all service and volunteer on road support, rostering, and planning across Victoria. This role will work very closely with the Client Experience team.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage accurate bookings across all Community Transport sites to ensure efficient trip coordination for volunteers and clients
- Track trips and schedules in real-time to address delays and ensure timely service delivery
- Handle a range of complex and competing service needs, including triaging information between volunteers and Community Transport staff
- Provide regular reports to Regional Leads on service delivery targets and strategies to ensure they are met
To be successful, you will need:
- Prior experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to forecast challenges and provide resolutions
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and booking system or rostering software
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
