About the Role

The Service Enablement Lead will manage a team of service enablement officers to schedule and deliver service delivery, enable logistical planning and promotion, overseeing fleet and procurement activities, contract management and reporting and cultivating strategic partnerships. This role will also support the Head of Operations in developing and implementing strategies to enhance service sustainability and effectiveness, driving operational excellence and managing escalations. This position may require travel to RFDS locations from time to time.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Establish and maintain a culture that promotes engagement, sets clear goals, and enables high performance within the team. Supervise, mentor and support service enablement officers.
- Contribute to strategies for service sustainability, including budget planning and grant applications, including preparing data for internal/external reporting and funding proposals.
- Identify potential risks in delivering contract requirements and implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring safe, quality clinic operations and ensuring that program delivery targets are meet.
- Coordinate management of program and health service data and contracted reporting requirements to ensure services are delivered as specified in service agreements.
- Collaborate with Clinical and Community Services leads to develop operational planning including annual schedules and coordination of logistic and travel requirements for Primary Health Care services. 
- Lead communications and promotion of PHC services in partnership with RFDS communications team while assessing community needs and barriers to access for continuous improvement.

To be successful, you will need:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Business or Logistics Administration and/or equivalent professional experience in the health or not-for-profit sector
- Significant experience in a similar role with an emphasis on operations and program planning, data management and reporting process
- Experience being in a senior position and leading a team in the not for profit and/or health service delivery sector
- A proven ability to lead, coach, and develop others, fostering growth and creating a supportive environment for success
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and excellent analytical abilities
- Ability to use digital and online data and clinic management systems e.g. Titanium/ MMeX /Tableau/Tyro etc.
- Ability to problem solve, think critically and multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
- Experience accepting responsibility and working under pressure, often with conflicting demands
- Current full Victorian Divers Licence and the ability to drive in metropolitan and rural areas

Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, a current Driver Licence and the right to work in Australia.
