Storeperson
Join our dynamic Aviation Department as a Storeperson! 🛩️ As a key member of the Engineering team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our supply distribution system. You’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and efficient inventory management.
This all plays a crucial role in keeping RFDS flying and provide the finest care to the furthest corner of WA.
About you
- At least 2 years' experience in a fast-paced Storeperson position
- Strong computer literacy skills and fluent with Microsoft Suites
- Effective communication skills, including written and verbal
- A high level of time management, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Forklift Drivers Licence (desirable)
- Previous experience with Aviation or Mining Stores would be held in high regard
About the role
- Receipting and dispatching of aircraft spares and components
- Raising purchase orders for aircraft spare parts and consumables
- Raising internal work packs
- Assisting with stock take and cycle counts
- Entering data into computer system
- Liaising with RFDS bases on stock level requirement
- Processing parts requisitions for Engineers
- Liaising with suppliers
- Performing general housekeeping duties
