About this Opportunity

Reporting to the Tourism Manager NT, the Tourist Facility Manager is accountable for leading and expanding the digital and retail business plans for the Darwin Tourist Facility in line with strategic priorities and reflective of the RFDS brand. A key feature of this role will be to provide effective and efficient operational leadership and management of the team and activities provided through the Darwin Tourist Facility.

Our Darwin Tourist Facility provides an opportunity for the public to learn about the history, staff, and patients of the Royal Flying Doctor Service and their heroic stories, in a technology driven and interactive environment.

To be considered for the role you require:

• Demonstrated capability to operate and think strategically displaying strong business acumen, a high level of initiative and problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple accountabilities and a record of successfully managing competing priorities.
• Demonstrated high level of communication skills, with the ability to interact and engage with a diverse range of people and build professional relationships.
• Proven ability in leading and managing a team in a fast-paced business environment.
• A Tertiary qualification in Business, Tourism, Project Management, Marketing, or significant relevant industry experience.
