The Royal Flying Doctor Service is now providing an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified Registered Nurses to access a limited number of Midwifery Scholarships.
The Scholarships, available across Australia, will provide financial support to those Nurses so they can gain this important qualification, which is a requirement to become an RFDS Flight Nurse.
Successful applications are required to complete the specified course and then work for a minimum of one year at one of the five RFDS bases in WA, selected by the organisation.
Selection Criteria:
- Registered General Nurse with AHPRA Registration;
- Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Certificate / experience;
- Significant relevant postgraduate nursing experience; and
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency in Australia.
