The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Western Australia (RFDS WA) is pleased to announce CBH Group has extended its commitment as a Major Partner for a further three years.

This agreement will see CBH continue as a Matched Giving Partner of the RFDS WA’s flagship fundraising campaign, Flying Doctor Day, in 2025, 2026 and 2027.
2024 marked a decade of official partnership between these two iconic Western Australian organisations, building on a long-standing relationship that began in 2005. Since 2014, CBH has generously donated more than $1.5 million to support the RFDS WA’s vital aeromedical services.
“As the RFDS WA approaches our centenary, we are incredibly grateful to have the ongoing support of CBH Group,” said RFDS WA CEO Judith Barker. "This partnership makes perfect sense, given the vital links both RFDS and CBH share with regional Western Australia."
Since 2021, CBH has been a Matched Giving Partner for Flying Doctor Day, matching community donations dollar for dollar.
This commitment has significantly enhanced the impact of RFDS WA’s fundraising efforts, enabling the service to continue providing essential medical care to every corner of Western Australia.
CBH donations from this year's Flying Doctor Day, held on 15 May 2025, will contribute to the cost of the aeromedical fit-out for the RFDS’s two new Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, which will arrive in WA mid-year.
These are the main aircraft used by the RFDS to support WA’s grain-growing communities.
In 2024, RFDS WA carried out 3001 patient retrievals from grain-growing areas in which CBH operates, highlighting the importance of the service to regional health and safety.
CBH Chief Executive Officer Ben Macnamara said the co-operative is proud to extend the partnership with the RFDS, highlighting a shared commitment to supporting regional communities.
“The Royal Flying Doctor Service plays a critical role in ensuring that people living and working in remote grain-growing regions have access to essential healthcare,” Mr Macnamara said.
“At CBH, we understand the challenges of living regionally and we are incredibly proud to support the RFDS in continuing to deliver life-saving services.“This partnership aligns with our commitment to supporting the safety and wellbeing of grain growers and their communities.”
The RFDS WA looks forward to continuing this successful partnership with CBH, ensuring that high-quality healthcare remains accessible to those who need it most in rural and remote areas.
