To conclude the 90th year, the Royal Flying Doctor Service has once again been named Australia’s Most Reputable Charity.
This is the 8th year in a row that the Flying Doctor has ranked first in the Charity Reputation Index. The consistency of this result demonstrates the support and confidence in the Flying Doctor that remains strong amongst the Australian community 90 years since the first flight in 1928.
The reputation score of 96.8 remains at the highest levels recorded by the Reputation Institute for any organisation.
“It is a privilege to once again be recognized as the most reputable charity in Australia and it is an indication of the value, trust and respect that Australians hold for the Flying Doctor” said Royal Flying Doctor CEO, Martin Laverty.
This achievement is a fitting way to conclude the celebrations of the 90th year and great recognition of the value of the Flying Doctors work to the Australian people.
With the support and confidence of the Australian community behind it, the Flying Doctor will continue to grow and expand its services to meet the future challenges and health care needs of country Australians.
