The Royal Flying Doctor Service is very proud to announce Mr Frank Quinlan has been appointed as the new Federation Executive Director of the Service, starting in mid November 2019.
Mr Quinlan is a great advocate for social and healthcare issues in the Australian community and shows a clear passion and commitment to improving the lives of all Australians. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Mental Health Australia and his accomplishments in his 8 years at Mental Health Australia are extensive.
Mr Quinlan has tirelessly worked as a collegiate force in mental health advocacy and lead the wider mental health sector for almost a decade, implementing the vision of ‘mentally healthy people, mentally healthy communities.’
RFDS Federation Board Chair, Amanda Vanstone has commented “I am delighted Frank Quinlan will be taking the position. His extensive advocacy experience and history in the not-for-profit sector will contribute greatly to the mission and values of the RFDS.”
Mr Quinlan added “I am delighted to be joining the RFDS, and I look forward to advocating for country Australians to ensure they have access to the services they need and experience better health outcomes.
