In celebration of World Oral Health Day, on the 20th of March, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania landed at St Leonards Primary School with a mission to transform young grins and ignite a passion for health.

Under this year’s theme “A happy mouth is a happy mind”, the Flying Doctor team focused on the importance of good dental care, which is the secret to a bright future for the young people of St Leonards.

RFDS Tasmania’s Education Officer, Megs Culhane, shared her expertise with St Leonards’ year 1 to year 4 students.

Her presentation featured an interactive sessions with hands-on activities and a treasure trove of tips to keep teeth sparkling and minds thriving.

"We are thrilled to partner with St Leonards Primary School to celebrate World Oral Health Day," said Megs.

"Our goal is to raise awareness about the significance of oral health and the impact a healthy mouth has on overall wellbeing.”
