The RFDS was recently recognised as Australia’s Most Reputable Charity for 2022, in the Australian Charity Reputation (RepTrak®) Index.
Conducted annually, RepTrak’s independent survey analyses Australia’s top 40 national charities.
The survey result is testament to the Flying Doctor's workforce and its strong partnerships and relationships across the country with a dedicated community of volunteers, donors, partners and supporters.
What is the Australian Charity Reputation (RepTrak®) Index?
For years, RepTrak (formerly known as the Reputation Institute) has published the Australian Charity Reputation Index, which ranks Australia’s 40 largest charities using a scoring system measuring areas such as trust, admiration, respect and overall esteem.
Measuring the perceptions of the community, the RepTrak index is focuses of seven drivers of reputation: Citizenship, Services, Innovation, Conduct, Leadership, Workplace and Cost Management.
This year, RFDS scored a total of 97.5 points (out of 100), followed by Guide Dogs (94.4), Leukaemia Foundation (93.1), Fred Hollows (92.8) and St John Ambulance (92.6) rounding out the top five.
