You might remember in Spring 2022, we featured a story about Neroli Moreno, who became the youngest regular supporter of the Royal Flying Doctor Service when her parents, Chantel and Tino, signed her up at three months of age.
Neroli’s younger sister Emilyn joined her in showing support for the Flying Doctor, making her first donation in the month she was born.
Mum Chantel said it was an easy decision for both girls to donate.
“We want the girls to understand they can help to save the life of a child just like them, who need medical care in a remote community,” Chantel said.
“I have always been a passionate RFDS supporter and have raised money via Oceans to Outback and got my work to allocate some of their annual charity budget to the RFDS. I have always admired the work they do, especially flying to help people in need.”
The Moreno family went on a family trip to Dubbo in February 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the RFDS Visitor Experience.
“It was a wonderful visit to get more of an insight into the work the Flying Doctor does. We really enjoyed the VIP service from the volunteers who spent time talking us about all things RFDS. It was a real highlight of our trip to Dubbo,” Chantel said.
The family are looking forward to continuing their donations to the Royal Flying Doctor Service for many years to come.
