30 years of community support in Rockhampton
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the RFDS Rockhampton Auxiliary, which has raised more than $2 million to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Rockhampton Base and its delivery of vital services across the region.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) are teaming up with STEM engagement specialists She Maps to give young women the opportunity to be drone pilots for the day. The high-flyers will be introduced to engineering and aviation, encouraging them to explore a career with the RFDS.
Local Hero 2019 launch
Nominations open tomorrow across Queensland for the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s Local Hero Awards. Now in its fourth year, the award calls out and congratulates those community members who have rolled up their sleeves, put out their hands or stowed away their fears to help in an emergency.
QCoal Foundation furthers RFDS mental health support for North and Western Queensland communities
QCoal Foundation has granted the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) $25,000 funding to support the mental health of North and Western Queensland communities after the devastation of the recent unprecedented flooding.
