On Saturday 10 June, we celebrated our RFDS Mount Isa Hangar Ball proudly presented by Mount Isa Irish Club.
More than 250 guests from across the state travelled to Mount Isa to celebrate the RFDS with the local community.
With support from our partners and sponsors, the event was a huge success showcasing an RFDS aircraft, live music, drinks, canapes, a photobooth, raffle prizes and a live auction.
We are thrilled to share that, thanks to the incredible kindness of our guests, we raised an outstanding amount of over $25,000.
This money will go towards helping fund the remainder of the build and fit-out of the new RFDS Mount Isa Base.
