Operations Communication Centre
Based in Port Augusta, the Operations Communication Centre (OCC) is RFDS SA/NT’s logistics headquarters responding to all calls.
OCC staff members respond to emergency calls, monitor weather patterns, track aircraft movements and liaise with RFDS crews and health partners to facilitate the safe transport of patients.
As well as providing reassurance to the communities we serve, OCC team members bring quick thinking, a steady approach and exceptional coordination skills to support the Flying Doctor’s 24/7 work.

Facilities & Operations Management
Our Facilities and Operations staff oversee the effective running of RFDS Bases, Patient Transfer Facilities, Community Health Services and other assets across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This includes resource planning and allocation, maintenance and repairs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
