Salary Packaging
The RFDS SA/NT, as a not for profit charity, offers an attractive salary packing service to its staff. Community Business Bureau (CBB) manages the administration service for salary packaging.

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential and voluntary counselling service provided as a resource to RFDS SA/NT employees and their immediate family. The aim of the EAP is to assist with the resolution of personal and work related problems which may impact employees work performance, mental health, or quality of life. Learning Management System - LAAMP
LAAMP is available to use for all staff as a learning and development resource. LAAMP is available to download as a Mobile App and can be used on Desktop.
You will receive your LAAMP log in details on your first day to begin your training!
Relocation Assistance
Staff relocating to accept a position with RFDS SA/NT may be eligible for relocation assistance in the form of temporary accommodation, reimbursements and travel days. The policy can be found below.
Cultural Awareness Training
Cultural Awareness Training is available on LAAMP. Please view our handy resource developed by our National RAP Coordinator on Cultural Protocols.
Superannuation
RFDS SA/NT understands the importance of superannuation and assists employees to plan for their future through our superannuation scheme. Of course, employees may choose to have their superannuation directed to their own existing super funds, or alternatively we have our own managed fund with AMP. Remote Area Housing Allowance (Alice Springs employees)
Alice Springs employees (part-time or full-time) may be eligible to access a remote area housing allowance. Please access this procedure on the application of this allowance below.
Our Policies
RFDS SA/NT has a number of policies and operational manuals relevant to staff and dependent on the role you are undertaking. As an employee, you will be able to access our full suite of policies and procedures upon commencement via our Intranet page. You will be issued with your log ins on your first day with RFDS SA/NT.

RFDS SA/NT has 4 Enterprise Agreements with a big portion of staff covered by a contract of employment (employment agreement) or Modern Award.
If you are unsure whether you are covered under an Enterprise Agreement, please refer to your employment agreement or contact People and Culture. Feel free to save the agreement that applies to you for your own records.
