Scholarship program

Since 2012 the Give Them Wings scholarship program has supported undergraduate students in health fields who are from rural, regional and remote backgrounds.

Give Them WIngs

The Give Them Wings scholarship provides one-off financial assistance and offers students the opportunity to spend a Week with the Flying Doctor by undertaking a valuable work experience trip.

By providing exposure to the work of the Flying Doctor in Victoria, the Give Them Wings scholarship program encourages students to seek employment in regional or rural towns upon graduation, and put their vital skills to work in the communities that need them the most.

Give Them Wings 2024 has ended. Please check back in late February 2025 for information about the next round.
