The RFDS in VIC
Education Program
For more than 10 years, RFDS Victoria has run an education program for primary schools across the state.
The program includes a life-sized replica of the cockpit and fuselage of an actual Flying Doctor Plane witted with avionics, flight simulator and the equipment used by the doctors, nurses and pilots of RFDS, giving students the opportunity to experience rescuing a patient in the outback. Flying Doctor Flight Crew
The program also features a dedicated kids club, called Flying Doctor Flight Crew, which delivers quarterly newsletters to children, sharing stories and news from around the country.
