Congratulations to all 400 competitors in this year's Gibb Challenge who successfully made the 660km journey from Derby to El Questro Station along the Gibb River Road.

xx

In what was a mammoth effort, participants of the 2021 Gibb Challenge (14 - 21 May) raised nearly $600,000 in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Western Australia.

The event, in its 14th year, came back bigger than ever before with 80 teams of riders traversing across 660km of corrugated road and river crossings from Derby to El Questro in the remote Kimberley to raise vital funds for the RFDS.

Pit stops included Imintji, Mt Elizabeth Station, Ellenbrae Station, Home Valley Station and El Questro Wilderness Park.

RFDS WA CEO Rebecca Tomkinson thanked all participants, support crews and volunteers for their outstanding support.
