The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Western Australia (RFDS WA) is pleased to announce the signing of a new 10-year contract with the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) to continue delivering high quality health care and aeromedical services to regional and remote Western Australians.
The new agreement, announced by WA Minister for Health Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA alongside WACHS Chief Executive Jeff Moffet and RFDS WA CEO Judith Barker ASM, places the journeys of patients front and centre and ensures a modern, integrated approach to health service delivery that incorporates the most up-to-date clinical and aviation standards.

“Our new agreement with the WA State Government sets the RFDS WA up for a bright future in regional WA,” Ms Barker said.

Last year the RFDS WA retrieved more than 10,000 patients to definitive care across WA. Together with WACHS, the RFDS WA remains committed to providing seamless care to regional Western Australians.
