As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), you’ll play a critical role in supporting our mission to deliver health care to remote and regional Australia.

About your role

LAME Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet in line with regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to ensure serviceability.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and liaise with operations and pilots to coordinate activities.
  • Provide technical advice and support to the engineering team.

AME Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of a LAME to perform maintenance in compliance with CASA regulations and manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and components.
  • Support the implementation of maintenance programs and collaborate with the wider team to maintain operational safety.

    What you'll need

    LAME:

    • CASA B1.1 or B2 licence with a deep understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
    • A meticulous eye for detail and unwavering commitment to safety.
    • Ability to work independently and problem solve.

    AME:

    • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics).
    • Technical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
    • A proactive attitude toward quality and safety, combined with effective teamwork abilities.
