No matter where you live, work or play >
When serious illness strikes.
When life hangs in the balance.
When accidents turn into emergencies.
You can count on the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) to deliver the life-saving care when you need it most.
No matter where you live, work or play, your Flying Doctor is there for you.
But we need your help.
To maintain an up-to-date fleet of medically-equipped aircraft costs a lot of money. In fact, each replacement ‘flying intensive care unit’ costs more than $10 million. Our daily costs are greater than the government funding we receive, leaving a critical gap.
Over our rich 90-year history of saving lives, we have relied on the generosity of the community to keep our vital service running. Today, you have the power to help keep your Flying Doctor flying into the future.
Every day (and night), the RFDS airlifts 15 South Australians – and conducts more than 100 aeromedical missions across Australia every day.
None of us want to call upon the Flying Doctor. But when faced with a medical emergency, you can take comfort in knowing RFDS crews are here for you in times of need.
Will you help save lives from the ground?
